. Conversation: Help... Keeping Whites white.... White Pants – As I am busy (and hate to spend anymore time in the laundry than I have to), I find if I soak the pants too much the metal zip corrodes and eventually goes (we now make the tower pants with a heavy duty non-metal zip to help solve the problem from over soaking – which I personally thinks makes the pants go a creamy colour) I just throw the pants (by themselves – and as I usually have 4 or 5 pairs at a time isn’t as wasteful as it sounds) in a hot wash with drive or another good soap powder and I find that gets most if not all of the dirt out and they always look white. Sometimes I spray the knees and/or butt with a stain remover if they have had a hard game. If it is a wet day (clay nasty if wet) and they slide a lot that game I might soak them in napisan overnight then into a hot wash the next day. It sometimes can depend on the different clubs clay and you soon will figure out the hard dirt to get off. Good Luck – another hint is to get a pair of greys for training – my youngest loves to wear his whites to training and it drives me nuts. Regards, Sandra.
